Description : Students of Pragyan International School, Yamuna Expressway, Dudhera, Jewar(G.B Nagar) visited the HDFC Bank on 9th Dec. 2022 . They were accompanied by their Maths teacher Mr.Jayesh and Mr.Praveen(Accountant). Bank Manager Mr. Prem Singh and their staff Mr. Rohtash Sharma gave a warm welcome to the students. The session was conducted by Mr. Prem Singh, who gave a brief introduction of banking. The primary objective was to equip the students with relevant analytical and practical knowledge of the banking system. Bank personnel gave a brief description of various aspects of banking such as type of loans, Types of accounts, general utility services such as overdraft facility, travelers' cheque, locker facility, cash credit, bill discounting, money at call, etc. Students were curious to know about cheques, the difference between banking and bank differences, EMI, Net Interest Income of banks, Types of cheques, Current chest, Types of Interest, demonetization, and GST. The students were sensitized about the role of banks in the financial system to facilitate business transactions. Students were able to understand the roles of bank employees, Borrowing, processing, and lending of money that takes place between banks and customers.
