Description : Pragyan International School* Celebrated Baisakhi with great enthusiasm in the campus. A series of events were programmed for the day. A special Assembly was organised to commence the occasion. Two of the students spoke about the importance of the festival and why it is celebrated in Punjab. The boys of class Nursery to 2nd performed BHANGRA and the girls of the same age group impressed all with their beautiful GIDDHA performance. Mrs. Seema Sharma (Coordinator of School) spoke on the significance of celebrating important days like BAISAKHI and appealed to students to learn from the historic significance of the day in the lives of people. She extended her good wishes to the students and staff for the festival. The young children of kindergarten and classes I and Il, many of them were dressed in colorful, Punjabi and traditional outfits, participated in drawing and other activities on the theme to get the feel of the festivity.
